Mark Burnett, The Producer of Survivor

Dear Mark,

I love your show “Survivor”. It is an awesome show and amusing to watch. I do have a problem with it though. You are starting to get actors and plan some of the show out. It is starting not to look as good as if, you were to actually let it go with the flow rather, than planning it out. If you were to let the show go how it would be in real life it would look a lot better. An idea is to not plan it out or get actors to do the show and you would get a lot more viewers. That’s what I think about your show.

Hurricanes

Hurricanes

Hurricanes are storms that usually happen during hurricane season. They can be strong and die off before they do damage. A popular one is "Katrina" and it TOTALLED New Orlean's. They cause massive amounts of damage.

Hurricane "Ike" happened in 2008 and hit a small island. The island is called "Galveston Island" off the coast of Texas. It caused a lot of damage. It flooded the coast of the island, set a house on fire, and washed away a lot of greenery.

All the people that were there, many things could have happened. I think that they all fled. I think that because I can't see anybody in the picture. There was probably a hurricane warning.

I think that the title didn't fit because it says "Hurricanes" and the picture is about 1 hurricane. It also could have had a better title.

Video game recamendation

I recommend that you play Cabela's Big Game Hunting for the XBox. I recommend this because you go into different areas and look for the kind of animals that you have a tag for. You can buy different guns and equipment. After you shoot it it tells you how far it was and how heavy it was and stuff like that. You hunt anything from cougars to deer to fox.

Thomas D'Arcy McGee

On April 13 1825 Thomas D’Arcy McGee was born in the hospital in London Ontario. When Thomas D’Arcy McGee was born there was a horrific storm. A tornado had killed the power to the hospital. The owner told workers to go to Home Depot and buy 10, 10 000 kW generators.

Thomas D’Arcy McGee went home 3 days later with his dad. The storm was still raging but it wasn’t as bad. They were 18 miles from home when, a truck hit them and killed the mother and father. Thomas D’Arcy McGee sat in the car for 3 hours thinking. Then he got out of the car and walked home.

After 17 years of having to live with the memory of his parents dying he went into politics. He had lots of fun laughing with Mats Sundin, trying to convince him to go back to the leafs. He ran for the president of the council and won. He commanded that if a hockey team wants a player than they must sign. This only lasted from 1862-1863. In 1864 the confederation started.

When the confederation started Thomas D’Arcy McGee wanted to be president and tried again. The council said no but, you can help us with the confederation. Thomas D’Arcy McGee was ecstatic and said a lot to win the confederation. In the end they won but Thomas D’Arcy McGee was dead.



He had many long nights and many long meetings. Tonight was no exception. Thomas D’Arcy McGee was walking home one night after a late meeting in the Parliament Buildings and was reaching down to unlock the door. All of a sudden P.J. Whelan came up behind him and said are you Thomas D’Arcy McGee and he responded yes. They shook hands and then Thomas D’Arcy McGee was about to unlock the door when P.J. Whelan shot him in the back of the head.

He was lost in the time when Canada needed him most. Although he died he was remembered and in the end the confederation was won, partly because of Thomas D’Arcy McGee.

Anaconadas

An anaconda is a very strange creature. They like to eat big animals such as pigs and antelope. Their teeth are big and razor sharp. When they want to kill something they act like a coil and squeeze so tight that the animal can't breath. This proves that they have a lot of muscle. They can grow up to 10 metres long. They can be as heavy as 140 kg. That is just a few things i know about anacondas.
